Bay & Bay Transportation Raises Independent Contractor Pay
Eagan, MN – Bay & Bay is proud to announce a new Independent Contractor (IC) pay package that will increase the earning potential of all current Independent Contractors. This new pay package signals to prospective Independent Contractors that Bay & Bay is committed to its drivers and cares about their earning potential.
This best in class pay package is available for all IC’s who operate in our over-the-road (OTR) refrigerated trucking division and will be effective after April 1, 2017.
The following is a description of the new pay package:
Mileage Bands Pay

| Loaded Mileage Pay | $/mile |
| 0-150 miles: | 1.27 |
| 151-250 miles: | 1.17 |
| 251-300 miles: | 1.07 |
| 301 + miles: | 0.97 |
| Empty Mile Pay | $/mile |
| All empty miles: | 0.90 |
| Fuel Surcharge Pay | $/mile |
| Paid based off DOE | Variable |
