Quickway is now hiring a Yard Spotter for our terminal in Indianapolis, IN.

Spotter $24 days $25 nights, OT after 40

(We need someone who can back up a trailer without hitting anything….)

Job Details:

• Move trailers as needed on customers lot and place or pull from the proper warehouse door, keep records as needed and run on public roads as required
• Yard Drivers …… Extra work is always available. ( If road qualified…)
• Must be a CDL, Class A Driver and is willing to work any shift, be dependable and likes to think about retirement expectations in advance.

Yard Spotters Schedule is expected as:

Front half of week schedule; 2 spotters per

• Sunday – Tuesday  4am to 4pm
• Sunday – Tuesday  6am to 6pm and both on Wednesday 6am to 12am
• Sunday – Tuesday 6pm to 6am and both on Wednesday 6pm to 12am

Back half of week schedule;  2 spotters per

• Thursday – Saturday 4am to 4pm
• Thursday – Saturday 6am to 6pm and both on Wednesday 12pm to 6pm
• Thursday – Saturday 6pm to 6am and both on Wednesday 12am to 6am

If you want to work your days off, we run: IN, IL, KY, MI, MO, OH, TN., Milk, Grocery + Bread, Etc..

Haul: Milk, Palletized Grocery & Bottled Water along with Stacks of Bread Tray products to Kroger stores, return milk and bread dunnage from stores.

Unload milk w/electric pallet jack, bread drop on dock/ no stocking shelves

Yard Spotter benefits after 60 days:

• Full-Time Employees are eligible to participate in medical, dental, vision and life insurance on the 1st day of the month following 60 days from date of hire.
• $25,000 life insurance and $25,000 accidental death/dismemberment- FREE

After 90-day probationary period:

• 6 paid holidays and 2 paid personal days per year
• Participate in 401(K) – After 3 years of service, company matches 50% of first 6% of pay
• After 1 year/1 week’s paid vacation, 2 years/2 weeks 7 years/3 weeks 10 years/4 weeks
• ESOP (Employee Stock Ownership Program)

Qualifications:

• Must be at least 23 years of age
• Must have CDL A license
• Zero tolerance policy on any positive drug/alcohol test results
• Must meet Department of Transportation (DOT) testing and physical requirements and be knowledgeable of DOT regulations
• No DWI in 5 years
• No reckless driving convictions in last 5 years
• No more than 3 moving violations and/or accidents in the past 36 months (that is combo of both)
• No preventable accidents in the last 12 months
